Hello! My name is Nico , and I’m excited to share a bit about my journey with you. As a part-time wheelchair user, navigating the world has uniquely shaped my experiences and perspective. I rely on my incredible Assistance dog, Dazai, who I proudly trained for over three years. Together, we’ve built a strong bond, and I am grateful for the support he provides. He recently passed his PAT (Public Access Test) with flying colors as part off Good Karma Assistance Dogs, which is a wonderful achievement for both of us.

Professionally, I wear several hats. I am the Secondary Director and Dog Trainer at Good Karma Assistance Dogs, where I focus on training and empowering others in their journey with assistance dogs. I also work as a graphic designer, where I get to combine my love for art and technology. Additionally, I manage various administrative tasks for Good Karma Assistance Dogs, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Dogs have been a lifelong passion of mine. I've been training canines for over eight years +, and recently, I took the leap into professional dog training. I also have three other dogs at home, each with their own unique personalities and quirks. Training them has not only been rewarding but has also enriched my understanding of dog behaviour and communication.
